Mothers Day
The concept of celebrating Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May is very new in India and it can be said that in a time span of less than a decade, Mothers Day has been a great success. May 11, 2008 is been observed as International Mothers day.
FLF team celebrated this day in a very unique manner, had distributed gifts and greetings to all mothers admitted in the hospital.
In addition to this a free health screening to all women's has been declared and also extended discounts on Preventive health check packages, so as to ensure good health to all mother's.
Health Screening Camp @ Bank of Baroda
FLF has organized a health check up camp for Bank of Baroda employees and the bank visitors.
The camp was conducted on 25 April, where in Blood Pressure, Measurement of Body Mass Index & body fat were done on the spot.
Nurses Day
International Nurses Day (IND), observed on 12th of May every year, is celebrated on also the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who is remembered as 'The lady with the lamp' for her undying commitment to the cause of healthcare. It is also a day when the world applauds the nursing fraternity for their 24x7 service to promote health.
The celebration started with a speech by General Manager motivating the nurses to keep up the good work and move ahead with enthusiasm and energy & followed by oath ceremony by Nursing Head Ms. Suma Alias addressing all her staff, the event was concluded by a well organized high tea.
