This major department caters to various kinds of surgically treatable diseases including Abdominal Surgery, Colorectal Surgery, Hepato-Biliary and Pancreatic Surgery, various hernia operations, breast diseases including Benign and Malignant diseases, Varicose veins etc.
The department is looked after by a highly qualified team of dedicated fulltime and visiting Consultants who are experienced to tackle any complicated surgical procedure. The patients are looked after by a team of in-house surgically qualified and competent registrars round the clock. A consultant surgeon is always available for emergency consultation.
Latest equipments- The department utilises 3 modern operation theaters equipped with state of the art latent and immaculately maintained surgical instruments. The instruments for basic and advanced laparoscopic surgeries are a surgeon's delight. Harmonic scalpels for blood-less surgery are used regularly.
